Also, I’m specifically focused on unusual names, and since I’m American, it’s easier for me to spot which names in the 1800s were unusual in the US. I see a name like Miyoko and like it and want to put it on my list, but I don’t know whether it counts as “unusual” just because I’m personally unfamiliar with it.
