One of the oldest providers of primary education in the United States, Oak Park and River Forest High enrolls more than 2,000 students annually. Approved by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the school is member of the West Suburban Conference and Illinois High School Association.

Our Student Services division includes our counselors, deans, and social workers. Each student has an assigned counselor, who is part of a Pupil Support Services team, or PSS for short. We are a one-school district, with the majority of our students coming from two sender districts, River Forest Public Schools District 90 and Oak Park Elementary School District 97. We offer more than 200 courses, a variety of programs for students with special needs, 90 clubs and activities, and 29 competitive sports.
