"Merlin and the Book of Beasts" is not the best of fantasy adventure movies available, as it had a rather mundane and slow paced storyline which really wasn't particularly interesting. The special effects were semi-adequate, which was a shame because a fantasy movie needs to have proper special effects to really carry the movie.
