A local tradition since 1985, the Santa Barbara Kite Festival takes flight on the "Great Meadow" on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College. The blufftop lawn overlooks the beautiful Santa Barbara harbor and breakwater and is a perfect location for kite flying. Parking is plentiful on campus and admission to the festival is free.
West Beach Enjoy a full day of live music at the West Beach bandstand, sponsored by the PARC Foundation, before a 20-minute fireworks display presented by Garden State Fireworks and sponsored by the City of Santa Barbara Waterfront Department.
