S6.E17 ∙ The Ex-King of Diamonds. Sun, Jan 19, 1969. In France, the Saint becomes friends with Texan adventurer Rod Huston, the famous mathematician ,Henri Flambeau, and his daughter, Janine. They're all amazed at the luck which seems to follow Boris, the ex-king of Slavonia.
The show came to an end in 1969, but later resurfaced in 1979, aptly named The Return of The Saint. Ian Ogilvy was the new Saint for 24 color episodes, but didn't last long. A pilot for a new Saint show was made in 1987 by D.L. Taffner, starring Andrew Clarke as The Saint. There were no other episodes other than the one pilot episode.
The two-part "Saint" episode "Vendetta for the Saint" has here been cobbled together to make one seamless adventure package. Those two episodes, numbers 113 and 114 (out of 118), first aired in January '69, but have never made it to U.S. syndication.
