Sycamore Creek Restoration & Habitat Enhancement. The Village of Indian Hill was awarded $1,410,000 in Water Resource Restoration Sponsor Program (WRRSP) funding from the Ohio EPA to restore a portion of Sycamore Creek as well as perform reforestation, invasives removal, and habitat enhancement in the vicinity.

The Charter for the City of the Village of Indian Hill (the “Village”) was adopted in 1941 and has been amended six times with the most recent amendments being approved in 2020. The Charter can be amended only upon approval of the voters of Indian Hill.
Village History. The nearly 20 square miles, now known as Indian Hill, was first eyed by the Indian tribes of the Shawnee, Miami, and Delaware. From their villages at Pickaway and Chillicothe, they came to hunt the wooded slopes and fish the clear streams.
