Across eight seasons and 73 episodes, Game of Thrones presented fans with an abundance of sickening twists and completely unanticipated shocks which saw the drama climb to near unbearable levels as main characters were killed en masse, but no episode did it quite like Season 3's notorious penultimate episode "The Rains of Castamere."
