   • Broughton Poggs church from the south-west, showing the early 12th-century tower with its twin Norman bell-openings. The building retains its original three-cell plan. The earliest surviving parts are the nave and fragments of the tower, built in primitive Norman style probably for the Murdacs in the early 12th century.
