For more than 240 years, Clausthal has produced qualified engineers and natural scientists, with the University evolving out of the internationally renowned Bergakademie (Mining Academy of Clausthal). Economists have also been qualified there since the turn of the millennium.
A master's degree is a graduate degree. Thus, one of the prerequisites for admission is a successfully completed undergraduate program (i.e. a bachelor's program). The standard duration of most master’s programs at TU Clausthal is four semesters.
