4 days ago · さてさて、今回は フライング･ブリトー･ブラザーズ を採り上げます。 バーズを脱退したグラム･パーソンズとクリス･ヒルマンが結成したバンドとして知られてますが、カントリーロックという日本では今一つ人気のないジャンルが故に、その知名度も一般的にはあまり高くはないように思われます。 私自身は名盤と称されるファーストやセカンドはもちろん聴いておりますが、個人的には今回ご紹介するサードに愛着を感じます。 カントリーロックのパイオニアでもあるグラムは、一方でドラッグ等問題行動も多く、1970年にクリスによってグラムはブリトーを解雇されてしまいます。 その後釜に加わったのが当時無名だったリック･ロバーツです。
