Director Stephens does a fine job, Hoboken Hollow is surprisingly well shot & has that isolated, baking hot Texan outback feel to it. The family & their house reminds of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre although Hoboken Hollow is more graphic & doesn't go for atmosphere or scares as much.
