     You need to add http:// in the href to go to a page on an external site:

     <a href="http://www.blahblahblah.com/about">About page on blahblahblah.com</a>-

     This is because when you simply link to it without the http:// in front (hyper text transfer protocol) it is trying to go to the page "www.blahblahblah.com" which obviously does not eixst on your server. When you add the http://, the browser knows that it is another website and therefore will bring you to the external site.

     You're on the right track.

     The ideal way to do this would be to add a <a name="about></a> tag to the appropriate section of your template. This is called an HTML anchor and is how those #tags know where to point to.

     Given that this is Wordpress, you could probably also get away with just appending that to the title of the appropriate section. So wherever you specified 'call this section "About"', you could probably redo it as 'call this section "<a name="about">About</a>"' and then you'll be able to link to it using anchors like in your example-- <a href="/index.php#about">About</a>

     You could add a hash value to the link on two.html and add a startup script to the page with the tabs to show/hide the div that you need.

     On one.html you can add a startup script that sets the visibility of the correct div. If your tab contains two divs like this (Everything hidden by default?):

     You can add the following startup script to two.html:

     I submitted this issue to Apple and it was fixed with iOS and macOS releases in December 2021.

     A WebKit engineer via Twitter exchange suggested I submit the specific instance of my issue with the URL in question to Apple using Feedback Assistant. I did this and was then asked to test with builds 19D5026g (iOS) and 21D5025f (macOS). These fixed the issue.
