Does game devs payed less than web developers. It varies a lot. If you averaged it out I imagine game dev is much lower simply because there are many many more game devs working for nothing than there are web devs. Almost no one dreams about making their dream web page so they don't generally do it just for art. On average, yes.
The Good Place has some damn fine commentary on this, but all in all to me morality is a lot deeper and more complicated than just actions being worth a certain amount of good or evil points. Ofc game devs are rarely students of ethics, and representing complicated morality systems with a game engine is kinda hard, to say the least.
