Actor: Zoi. Orestis was born in Athens and raised in Thessaloniki in an artistic family, where both his parents are actors. Subsequently, he caught the acting bug early on and started acting at the age of 7. At 2006 he became the founding member and singer of the hard rock band "Parafernelia".
In summer of 2023 he is making his comeback to Epidaurus with the title role of "Hippolytus" under the direction of Katerina Evangelatos. Chalkias has a main role in the TV series "Maestro in Blue" by Christopher Papakaliatis, which is the first Greek production included on Netflix.
