Looking for some help! I am installing gas struts into a Pelican V730 case. The intent of the strut is mainly to control how far the lid opens and to hold it open (and not allow is to slam shut). The lid weighs ~7lbs, so it's not there for lift assist per se, but will open the lid of the wide case controlled and together.
