May 27, 2024 · I'd say The Killing of a Sacred Deer works more as a character study film than as a film that has something meaningful to say (and usually Yorgos' films are both) and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but unfortunately it just didn't really work for me, I did really enjoyed the acting though, very awkward and interesting to watch.
