I ended up using Maxroll's ball lightning paragon board, replacing the Adept glyph with Tactition instead, since I also incorporated burning into the build for more dps via Devouring blaze. Also replacing a bunch of close damage tempers with Shock critical damage. I just recently broke the 1m barrier doing the above.
4 days ago · Demiplane incorrectly has Chain Lightning (Arcana level 5) listed as an Ability. It should be a spell. Ive checked in the PDF (version 1.4.1) and its definitely a spell there. For future reference - should this sort of thing go under Daggerheart or Support?
A first-level spell, Absorb Elements puts a temporary defensive aura on its caster that provides resistance to acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage. This alone is a powerful effect, especially if used to absorb an effect like a dragon's breath weapon or a high level enemy spell.
