3 days ago · Forgive me if I get this story wrong; it’s probably apocryphal anyway. It’s about the great director Federico Fellini and his screenplay for La Dolce Vita (1960). The original producer/financier was Dino de Laurentiis. Apparently, Dino put up the money based entirely on Fellini’s genius. He had no idea what the movie was going to be about.
