The Florida Department of Corrections has a search tool on its website where the public can search for an inmate incarcerated in state prison. You can search using a partial name or the inmate’s DC number.

The Florida Department of Corrections maintains a searchable public database of all of the inmates they have in custody. The prison that an inmate is assigned to depends on factors such as security classification, remaining time of their sentence, gang affiliation, and location of their residence.

The online inmate in-custody search allows you to locate an inmate by entering their last name followed by their first initial or first name. The results will display a list of individuals in custody by name, date of birth, race, sex, location, charges, bond amount, jail number, booking date, booking time and their mugshot.
