Mistresses is an American mystery drama soap opera television series based on the 2008–10 British series of the same name, about the lives of four female friends and their involvement in an array of illicit and complex relationships.

The programme was written by Rachel Pole, Richard Warlow, Harriet Braun and Catrin Clarke and filmed in Bristol by Ecosse Films for BBC Drama, Wales.
The first season of the American television drama series Mistresses premiered on June 3, 2013 and concluded on September 9, 2013 on ABC. The series is based on the U.K. series of the same name and was adapted by K.J. Steinberg.
