Exactly! I don't care about the real people behind it, but I am interested in the album as it tells a cohesive narrative story. Sometimes if you're discussing those themes you use the names as shorthand, but I don't actually mean 'Joe' and 'Matty' as real people, I mean the characters created in this telling of the story.
