1 day ago · Visit Windsor Castle. The centerpiece of Windsor England, this iconic castle has been home to British royalty for over 1,000 years. It is the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. I loved the Changing Of The Guard, walking around the state apartments and St. George’s Chapel where Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip are buried.
4 days ago · You get to see a lot and I recommend to allocate 90-120 minutes to the experience. St. George's Chapel was also so historical and informational. I did not realize so many historical figures were buried at the chapel. Easy to access from Windsor and Eton Riverside train station, about 50 minutes from Waterloo station in London.

Jun 7, 2024 · St George’s Chapel closes at 16:00, although visitors are welcome to attend evensong at 17:15; The Chapel is also closed to visitors on Sundays but worshippers are welcome to attend services; Dogs are not allowed, with the exception of assistance dogs; Windsor Castle is a working royal palace and can be closed at short notice.
