The Tagbanwa people (Tagbanwa: ᝦᝪᝯ) are one of the oldest ethnic groups in the Philippines, and can be mainly found in the central and northern Palawan. Research has shown that the Tagbanwa are possible descendants of the Tabon Man, thus making them one of the original inhabitants of the Philippines.

Some trace their lineage back to the Tabon Man, among the earliest inhabitants of the archipelago. They primarily inhabit central and northern Palawan, particularly Coron Island and its surroundings.
The Calamian Tagbanwas are primarily located in the northern part of Palawan in the Calamian and Linapacan islands. Interestingly, they do not belong to the Palawanic subgroup, but are directly classified under the Philippine subgroup.
The Tagbanua inhabit the central portion of Palawan Island, both the eastern and the western coasts, which lies between Mindoro and Borneo. The higher concentration of population is in the more extensive lowlands to the east of the island's mountain range.

The Tagbanwa are noted for the complicated Pagdiwata ritual, held to celebrate various occasions including bountiful harvests and weddings.
