I learned recently and now tell everyone I know: you think trains are loud, you think you will hear it coming in time to move. The problem is, you hear a train when it is passing you. If it is passing you while you’re on the tracks it’s too late. You will not hear the train in time to move. Stay the hell away from train tracks, please.
