The cast also includes Richard Jaeckel in an Academy Award -nominated performance.
Paul Newman directs and stars in this drama about a timber family defying a strike in the Northwest. The review praises Newman's direction, the lumber scenes, and some of the characters, but questions the Fonda character's pride.
