The Navigators is a ministry that shares the gospel of Jesus Christ and helps others to grow in Christ, and help others do the same. We do this through Life-to-Life ® discipleship on college campuses, military bases, workplaces, inner cities, local communities and in 115 countries around the world—wherever there are people who need Christ.
The Navigators is a faith ministry supported by the contributions of individuals and churches. Field staff—those directly involved in grassroots ministry—raise their own financial support. Our aim is to make a permanent difference in the lives of people around the world.

The organization believes the Bible is the inerrant Word of God; and the doctrines of the Trinity, the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, and salvation by grace through faith are all in line with what the Bible says.

By the end of World War II, thousands of men on ships and bases around the world were learning through The Navigators. The collegiate ministry of The Navigators was founded in 1951 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
