Bardejov ( pronunciation ⓘ; Hungarian: Bártfa, German: Bartfeld, Rusyn: Бардеёв, Ukrainian: Бардіїв, Polish: Bardejów) is a town in North-Eastern Slovakia. It is situated in the Šariš region on a floodplain terrace of the Topľa River, in the hills of the Beskyd Mountains.

Aug 25, 2016 · Bardejov is one of the 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Slovakia (others include i.e. Banska Stiavnica, Levoca + Spis Castle or the wooden churches in Kosice region). The town was awarded due to its well preserved fortified medieval look, typical for this region.
Bardejov is a town in North-Eastern Slovakia. It is situated in the Šariš region and has about 33,000 inhabitants. The spa town, mentioned for the first time in 1241, exhibits numerous cultural monuments in its completely intact medieval town centre. The town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
