Mayor of Kingstown is an American crime thriller television series created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. The series premiered on November 14, 2021, on Paramount+. In February 2022, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on January 15, 2023.
With Jeremy Renner, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Taylor Handley. The McLusky family are power brokers tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.
S1.E1 ∙ The Mayor of Kingstown. The prison system is being administered by the 2 McLusky brothers, Mitch and Mike. Side deals are the business each day, where prisoners safety is being bartered for amongst the prison gangs to avoid the McLusky brand of meted out justice.
