I was born in London in 1968, and grew up in the muddy fields of East Anglia. I went to Trinity College Cambridge, followed by the Royal College of Art film school. I have made many TV documentaries, drama documentaries and short films that have been shown all over the world. These have won various prizes, including a Grierson award.
Film&TV / I have made films about treasure hunters, artists, soldiers, prisoners of war, evolutionary psychologists, spies … they have been shown all over the world and 1983, Brink of Apocalypse won a Grierson Award .
