Bon-Ton Stores Inc., which owns Herberger's and other department store chains, filed for bankruptcy and was bought by liquidators. The company will start going-out-of-business sales on Friday, affecting 20 Herberger's locations in Minnesota and other states.

This weekend, the sites were relaunched with kitchen appliances, big-screen TVs and gaming systems, apparel, cosmetics and home goods. The selection is limited.
