Film actor, Screenwriter. Michael Hogan (17 September 1893 – 1 January 1977) was a British screenwriter. Hogan had previously been a notable film actor, appearing in lead roles in a number of silent and early sound films. Hogan worked as a writer in both Britain and Hollywood .
Biography. Michael’s feature and short scripts have netted over 250 screenwriting awards since 2019; 150+ have been "Best Screenplay" and "Best Screenwriter" awards. In 2021, Michael directed his fourth film, “Breaking & Entering”, a provocative and edgy drama short based on his script that garnered 26 “Best Short Screenplay” awards.
