John Leach is a Canadian animator. Through his Toronto studio Leach-Rankin Productions (formed with wife Isobel Jean Rankin), he supplied Spanish language inserts on Sesame Street, while French language ones aired on the Canadian version.
Typically using broad basic figures, often without features like ears or noses, Leach supplied animated credits and segments for the TV Ontario puppet series Readalong and produced the animated specials The Gift of Winter and Witch's Night Out (with the voice of Gilda Radner).
