David Filoni (born June 7, 1974) is an American director, producer, and screenwriter currently serving as the Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm.
Dave Filoni. Producer: The Mandalorian. Dave grew up in Mt. Lebanon, a suburb southwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was in the marching band, and was the starting goaltender for half of his senior year on the hockey team. He graduated from high school in 1992 and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1996, where he played club hockey.
Dave Filoni is creator, writer and executive producer on the critically acclaimed series Ahsoka (2023), executive producer, episodic director and writer on the Emmy Award-winning series The Mandalorian (2019-) as well as its spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett (2021).
