Apr 24, 2017 · William Morse Davidson was born Dec. 5, 1922 in northwest Detroit. He attended Detroit public schools, graduating from Central High School in 1940. He enrolled in the University of Michigan, where he was a business major and a member of the track team. World War II interrupted his studies.
