The Blake School is a private, coeducational, college-preparatory day school located in Hopkins, Minnesota. The school is located on two campuses in the Twin Cities area: the upper school (9–12) in Minneapolis with the middle and lower school, along with administrative offices, on the Hopkins campus.
Blake students receive an excellent education in traditional core subjects: reading and writing, mathematics, science, social studies and languages. In every discipline, the curriculum teaches communication skills, cultural competency and analysis of local, regional and global issues.
ELC one-hour tours—designed for parents/guardians—include a short program and opportunity to see classes in action. We host a family-friendly event in January for children to get to know our spaces and teachers. Applicant students also have other opportunities to visit the school.

Obituary & Service. Messages. Wanda Blake, 87, passed away January 3, 2024 at Arbor Springs in West Des Moines, Iowa. Wanda was born February 10, 1936 to Claude and Marian (Plummer) Dilsaver in Ava, Missouri. She married Robert Blake in 1957 and from this union four children were born.
