Oriol Paulo (born 30 July 1975) is a Spanish screenwriter and director. He is known for crime thriller movies such as The Body (2012) and The Invisible Guest (2016). Both films garnered international acclaim and were remade in several languages.
As a scriptwriter, he wrote screenplays for small screen films such as Ecos (2006) and Codi 60 (2011), but is best known for his work in series such as Absolute majority (2004) and The color of the cuitat (2004-09).

The Innocent (Spanish: El inocente) is a Spanish television mystery thriller miniseries directed by Oriol Paulo and based on the Harlan Coben novel of the same name. The show stars Mario Casas, Alexandra Jiménez, Aura Garrido and José Coronado. It was released on Netflix on 30 April 2021.
Oriol Paulo was born in 1975 in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. He is a writer and director. A native of Barcelona, Oriol studied Audiovisual Communications at Pompeu Fabra University before atteding the Los Angeles Film School.
