A Very Special Favor is a 1965 romantic comedy film directed by Michael Gordon and starring Rock Hudson and Leslie Caron . Plot. Paul Chadwick (Hudson) is a wealthy American oilman who is in a Parisian court, where he is up against the opposing lawyer Michel Boullard ( Charles Boyer ).
Boullard flies to New York for a reunion with his daughter Lauren, whom he has not seen in 25 years, and on the plane he meets Chadwick, who promises a favor in compensation for the injury to Boullard's French pride.
