I attended Iowa State University where I earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Culinary Food Science and Journalism and Mass Communications. While at Iowa State University I was a part of the Food Science Club, was honored as a Cardinal Key Memberand was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for the graduating class of 2015.

Lauren Grant is the founder and editor of Zestful Kitchen, a website for expertly-tested and approachable recipes. She has a degree in Culinary Food Science and Journalism from Iowa State University and has worked for leading food publications and test kitchens.
Lauren worked as production consultant on season one of the Temple Street series Killjoys. In 2011, Lauren won the best live action short drama Genie Award (Canada's Oscar) for the residential school musical Savage. The film has screened at over 50 film festivals including Berlinale, BFI, SXSW and the NYC Children's Film Festival.
