Bath Academy of Art | Michael Pennie Sculpture: Making and Teaching. For my first twenty-six years I mumbled and stumbled along, subjected to lots of ups and downs prior to my arrival, a young man with a northern accent, at Corsham Station in June 1962.

Micahael Pennie (b. 1936 Wallasey, Cheshire - d. 2019) studied at Sunderland College of Art, 1953–7, then Royal College of Art, 1957–61, in the latter year attending British School in Rome. He participated in many group shows and solo exhibitions including Angela Flowers Gallery, Demarco Gallery in Edinburgh and Artsite, Bath in 1989.
