Ciaran Murtagh (born May 16, 1977) is an Irish writer and author who is known for his frequent collaborations with Andrew Jones. He worked as a writer on seasons 4, 5, and 6 of The Amazing World of Gumball.
In 2002, he and his writing partner Andrew Jones formed a comedy theatre company called The Black Sheep. He worked as a screenwriter on many TV shows including Mr. Bean: The Animated Series, and currently writes for Shaun the Sheep. He is also a multi-award winning author of over 45 books to date.
