Aneesh Chaganty (/ ə ˈ n iː ʃ ˈ tʃ ɑː ɡ ən t i /; Telugu pronunciation: [əniːʂ tʃɑːɡəɳʈi] born January 30, 1991) is an American film director and screenwriter. He made his feature film directorial debut with the 2018 thriller Searching , for which he won the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival .
Aneesh Chaganty is a filmmaker who wrote and directed Searching (2018) and Run (2020), and produced Missing (2023). He also created short films and videos, and worked with Google as a creative.
