May 5, 2024 · For decades, Princess Diana's backup wedding dress was an unknown footnote in the story of her famed wedding ceremony. While the vision was alive and well in the memory of co-designer Elizabeth Emanuel, the frock was never seen by Princess Diana nor the adoring public.
Despite never being worn by Diana, the recreated backup dress is honoring its presence at the virtual Princess Diana Museum, thanks to Elizabeth's efforts to reproduce it.
