Aug 15, 2000 · That's how I'd describe my feelings about Marshall Crenshaw after hearing Life's Too Short. Now, after This Is Easy - purportedly the best he has to offer - I'm swaying more in his favour, but I'm still not wholly convinced. On the plus side is Crenshaw's devotion to the music he initially heard through the record buying habits of older relatives.
