  3. The Winchcombes ran out of male heirs and the Estate passed to Lady Frances Winchcombe who married Henry St.John, Lord Bolingbroke, Secretary of State to Queen Anne. Lord and Lady Bolingbroke rebuilt the kitchens and stables at Bucklebury House.
