    Bantam Spectra, the science-fiction imprint of Bantam Books and the Bantam Dell Publishing Group, published the Star Wars novels from the publication of Heir to the Empire in 1991 to the publication of Tales from the New Republic in 1999. Afterwards, the novels were published by Del Rey, though reprints of the novels published by Bantam Spectra still bear the Bantam Spectra imprint.
