Frederick Kohner was born on 25 September 1905 in Teplitz-Schönau, Austria-Hungary [now Teplice, Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Gidget (1965), Mad About Music (1938) and Hollywood Story (1951). He was married to Fritzi Klein.
