A pioneer of the diesel railroad engine had funeral services officiated by the Rev. Dean Miller of Palm Desert Community Church, conducted at 4 p.m. today in Wicfel’s and Son chapel. Private cremation was I scheduled to follow. Harold Lee Hamilton, 78, died at 10:05 a.m. Saturday in Desert Hospital following a lengthy illness.
