Mark Hodge Murphy (born July 13, 1955) is an American football executive and former player who is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Murphy, a safety, went undrafted in the 1977 NFL draft after playing college football at Colgate University.

Jul 2, 2022 · Mark Murphy has served as the Packers president/CEO for 14 years. He will remain in that position for three more years, but the team already is putting together a plan to find his successor. Murphy confirmed in his monthly Q&A that he will retire July 13, 2025, when he turns 70.
