Alvin R. Friedman was an American television writer. From a story by Larry Cohen, he co-wrote the teleplay to the Columbo episode Candidate for Crime alongside Irving Pearlberg, Roland Kibbee and Dean Hargrove. Friedman died in 2000, aged 66.
