Dec 21, 2023 · FLINT, Michigan — John K. Butler has been elected to the board of trustees of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, effective Jan. 1, 2024. A great-grandson of the institution’s founder, C.S. Mott, Butler will be the fifth family member currently serving on the board, which totals 14 active members and three trustees emeriti.

A native Californian, Butler was born in Auburn, up near San Francisco.
John Butler is currently the Chief Investment Officer and a Trustee for the Patrick and Aimee Butler Family Foundation, a Minnesota based family foundation.
Butler excels at describing the sharp clothes and macho, moneyed looks of the upper class men. They may be crooks, but they are snappy dressers. Butler also likes the high powered cars of the era.
